After breakfast, you will depart from Tbilisi and drive towards Western Georgia, discovering some of the country’s most spectacular natural attractions on the way to Kutaisi.
Your first stop will be the famous Prometheus Cave, one of Georgia’s most impressive underground natural monuments. Stretching for about 1400 m, the cave features magnificent halls decorated with stalactites and stalagmites, underground rivers, waterfalls, and colorful, illuminated rock formations. Today you will continue exploring the breathtaking region of Svaneti, traveling to its main administrative center, the mountain town of Mestia, surrounded by snow-capped peaks, ancient stone towers, and alpine valleys.
After a short scenic drive from Mazeri, you will arrive in Mestia and begin your excursion to the stunning Chalaadi Glacier.
