During this 1-day Kakheti wine tour, you will explore eastern Georgia, namely the Kakheti wine region. Kakheti is distinguished by numerous cultural monuments and diverse, beautiful nature.
You will visit unique cultural monuments such as Alaverdi cathedral and Gremi architectural monument – the royal citadel and the church of the Archangels.
Kakheti is a well-known wine-making region of Georgia, hence you will taste extremely delicious traditional wine and dishes.
You will also visit the beautiful Tsinandali house-museum and botanical garden and return back to Tbilisi with unforgettable impressions.
In the morning you will drive to Kakheti, where you will visit Alaverdi Cathedral (XI century) – one of the most important tourist attractions, located on Alazani Valley.
Further, you will visit the beautiful Gremi royal citadel and church (XVI century).
Later, you will head to the Georgian wine cellar, where you will try tasty Georgian wine and delicious local dishes.
